Endochronic theory, non-linear kinematic hardening rule and generalized plasticity: a new interpretation based on generalized normality assumption

چکیده
Short title: Non-classical plasticity theories and generalized normality. A simple way to define the flow rules of plasticity models is the assumption of generalized normality associated with a suitable pseudo-potential function. This approach, however, is not usually employed to formulate endochronic theory and non-linear kinematic (NLK) hardening rules as well as generalized plasticity models. In this paper, generalized normality is used to give a new formulation of these classes of models. As a result, a suited pseudo-potential is introduced for endochronic models and a non-standard description of NLK hardening and generalized plasticity models is also provided. This new formulation allows for an effective investigation of the relationships between these three classes of plasticity models.

Application of the orthogonality principle to the endochronic and Mroz models of plasticity
A new description of Endochronic and Mróz model is discussed. It is based on the definition of a suitable pseudo-potential and the use of generalized normality assumption. The key-point of this formulation is the dependence of the pseudopotentials on state variables.

متن کاملDynamic Analysis of Porous Media using Generalized Plasticity Model and Non-Darcy Flow Rule
Biot equations that consider fluid and soil interaction at the same time are the most applicable relationships in the soil dynamic analysis. However, in dynamic analysis, due to the sudden increase in the excess pore pressure caused by seismic excitation and the occurrence of high hydraulic gradients, the assumption of the Darcy flow used in these equations is questionable. In the present study...
متن کاملA New Endochronic Approach to Computational Elastoplasticity: Example of a Cyclically Loaded Cracked Plate
In this paper, a methodology for finite-element elastoplastic analyses of structures subjected to cyclic loading, based on a new form of endochronic {internal time) plasticity theory, is presented. In the present version of the endochronic theory, the rate forms of the stress/strain relations (stated here explicitly for plane stress, plane strain, and three-dimensional cases) are entirely analo...
